Young Authors Program: Write and Publish Your Own Book

Two young children writing together in a notebook

For writers ages 7 to 18. In three months, your child writes a 50-page book, edits it with a coach, and publishes it on Amazon.

Finishing a book builds confidence that lasts. Young authors learn to plan, stick with a big goal, and share their voice with the world.

What makes this program different

Most writing classes focus only on the page. We start with the brain and body behind the writing. Each session blends three proven approaches:

  • Bal-A-Vis-X: balance, auditory, and vision exercises using beanbags and balls, done in rhythm. These warm-ups help students settle, focus, and get ready to think.
  • Science of Learning: writing lessons built on how the brain learns best, including attention, working memory, and organizing ideas into a clear sequence.
  • One-on-one writing coaching: a coach guides your child from first idea to finished book, at the right pace for their age.

What your child will do

  1. Plan the story: choose a topic, build characters or key ideas, and outline the book.
  2. Write the book: draft about 50 pages, with steady weekly goals.
  3. Edit and revise: learn to strengthen their own writing with a coach’s feedback.
  4. Publish on Amazon: we guide the cover, layout, and publishing steps, so your child holds a real book in their hands.
